ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ May the lights of ascetics' souls never go out in mountains. May the glories of deities and Buddhas shine on peaks. ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ
from "The Charter of Sanjinken-no-Kai"
Sea of clouds spreads below Mt. Omine. Kumanonada Sea shines in the distance.
Everything has begun from the charter. To connect Shugendo practitioners who devote themselves to the world of mountain worship, Sanjinken-no-Kai was founded in 2009. Since then, members have been bettering together and offering prayers beyond the barriers such as schools, sects, and backgrounds.
We have opened the door to everyone who is linked by fate, while the details of our activities had been kept private for long time. However, in view of recent situation where the authentic traditions of Japan are disappearing, we decided to offer information about Shugendo to the world.
We would like to provide a chance to deepen your understanding about not only Shugendo itself but also various related cultures. We sincerely hope that it would provide a meaningful opportunity to anyone interested.

Mt. Omine at night. Under moonlight, peaks are floating on clouds.
